WHERE IT BEGAN.

It Started With Identity.

Do It Fearfully didn't begin as a brand. It began during a season when God was dealing with me.

At the time, I was selling faith-based T-shirts through my fitness business. God began leading me to separate the faith-based message and give it its own name: Do It Fearfully, rooted in Psalm 139:14.

I was obtaining my Associates in Theology and going through ordination classes, learning more about God while still wrestling with my own identity. I knew what Scripture said about who I was, but God was beginning to show me the difference between knowing it and living from it.

Psalm 139:14 became more than a Scripture about how intentionally I was created. God was showing me that understanding how He made me was connected to understanding how He desired me to live.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...”
PSALM 139:14

Before God taught me how to walk fearfully, He had to teach me who I was.

THE STRUGGLE

I Was Looking for People to Give Me What God Had Already Given Me.

Before I began truly living the message of Do It Fearfully, I spent a lot of time trying to be who I thought people wanted me to be.

I often felt overlooked. And without realizing it, I had started looking to people for validation, approval, and confirmation that I was enough.

I wanted to be seen for what I was capable of. I wanted what I did to prove something about who I was. And too often, I allowed the opinions and expectations of others to influence how I showed up, what I said yes to, and how much of myself I was willing to sacrifice.

People-pleasing had become so normal that I didn't always recognize it for what it was.

But God did.

I was looking for people to validate something God had already spoken over me.

And God loved me enough not to leave me there.

THE CONFRONTATION

God Began Confronting What I Had Learned to Live With.

God began confronting my desire to be validated and seen by the world based on what I was capable of.

He showed me the ways I had learned to perform for acceptance. How often I said yes because I didn't want to disappoint people. How easily I could measure my value by what I accomplished, how much I could carry, or whether other people recognized what I brought to the table.

And He began exposing the false agreements underneath it all.

Somewhere along the way, I had allowed experiences, rejection, disappointment, and the opinions of others to tell me things about myself that God never said.

Those were hard pills to swallow.

Because God wasn't only showing me what had happened to me. He was showing me what I had come into agreement with because of it.

God wasn't only showing me what had happened to me. He was showing me what I had come into agreement with because of it.

WHEN OBEDIENCE COST ME

Following God Didn't Mean Everyone Would Understand.

As I began choosing obedience over approval, I learned that following God doesn't always come without a cost.

Obedience has cost me friendships. It has affected family relationships. It has required me to walk away from places where I wasn't accepted and to stop allowing rejection to determine whether I would remain somewhere God was no longer asking me to stay.

That hasn't always been easy.

But I've had to learn that I cannot allow someone's inability to understand or accept my obedience to become the reason I disobey God.

Being accepted by people can never become more important than being obedient to God.

THE SHIFT

This Message Was Bigger Than Me.

Somewhere along the way, I realized God wasn't only walking me through these things for me.

What began as a reminder of my identity had become an invitation to live differently. The lessons God was teaching me about validation, people-pleasing, false agreements, healing, surrender, and obedience were changing more than how I saw myself. They were changing how I lived.

Do It Fearfully was no longer simply the name of a brand or a phrase connected to Psalm 139:14. It had become a message I was being required to embody.

The shirts were never the destination. The phrase was never the destination. Transformation was.

And as God continued transforming me, I began to understand that what He was teaching me could help someone else walk through their own process of identity, reverence, and obedience.

Do It Fearfully isn't a phrase I created simply to put on a shirt. It's a message I've had to live.

WHY I CREATE

Everything I Create Points Backto the Same Invitation.

What God has taught me through my own journey now shapes everything I create. Whether it's something you wear, read, study, or hear me teach, the purpose is the same: to point you back to Christ and encourage a life of reverent obedience.

  • 01 | IDENTITY

    KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

God created you intentionally. You don't have to build your identity around people's opinions, expectations, or approval. Begin with what He has already spoken.

    Psalm 139:14

  • 02 | REVERENCE

    KNOW WHO HE IS.

The fear of the Lord changes how we live. When we know who God is, His voice carries more weight than our feelings, fears, preferences, or the approval of people.

    Proverbs 9:10

  • 03 | OBEDIENCE

    MOVE WHEN HE SPEAKS.

Knowing truth isn't the destination. We are called to respond to it. Reverent obedience means trusting God enough to move, remain, surrender, or stand apart when He asks.

    James 1:22

FEAR GOD MORE THAN COMFORT

This is the invitation behind everything I create.

MAYBE YOU KNOW THIS FEELING TOO

For the One Who Knows There Has to Be More.

Maybe you've felt overlooked while knowing there is something God has called you to do.

Maybe you've allowed the opinions of people to become louder than what God has already spoken.

Maybe you've spent years waiting for validation, permission, or approval that God never required you to have.

Or maybe you know exactly what God has asked of you, but you're wrestling with what your yes might cost.

I know what that feels like.

But I've also learned that we cannot allow the fear of rejection, failure, discomfort, or being misunderstood to have more authority in our lives than the One who called us.

You Don't Need Everyone to Understand Your Obedience.

You need to know who you are.

Know who He is.

And move when He speaks.

THE INVITATION IS FOR ALL OF US

Much of my work speaks directly to women because of the assignment God has given me, but the message of Do It Fearfully isn't limited to women.

Reverence and obedience are the call of every believer. Whoever you are, the invitation remains the same: know who you are in Christ, know who He is, and have the courage to obey when He speaks.

FROM MY STORY TO YOURS

What Is God Asking You to Do Fearfully?

Maybe you already know what He said.

Maybe what's standing between you and obedience isn't a lack of direction, but the fear of what your yes might require.

I've learned that obedience doesn't require me to know how everything will unfold. It requires me to trust the One who called me.

And that is the invitation I leave with you.

Know who you are.

Know who He is.

Move when He speaks.

Fear God more than comfort.

With Love,

Simo
